Sebastien nadeau

Sebastien Nadeau has served as Executive Vice President at the FTM Group since joining in 2014. Sébastien oversees originating, investing, and in the overall strategy of the FTM portfolio companies across all sectors. He is a member of the FTM Executive Team and is based in Montreal.
Sebastien professional background enabled him to interact with a large number of business owners, operators and institutional shareholders. He also holds the position of Managing Partner at Oaklins E. Canada, a mid-market International Investment banking firm, where he is in charge of a team of 16 professionals in their Montreal and Toronto office. In addition, his experience includes corporate finance with PwC in their Montreal office, as well as manager with Hydro-Quebec in their structured finance department which focused mainly on international project investments. Sebastien served as a Director on the Cad Railway Industry inc. Board for a period of six years and is also a board member of the Julius Richardson Foundation since 2018.
Sebastien has a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal and holds the CPA, CA and CF designations.

Guillaume poulin
Vice President & Legal Counsel
Guillaume is Vice President and Legal Counsel at the FTM Group. He is based in Toronto and has more than 20 years of experience in M&A transactions, financing, corporate performance assessment and aligning executive compensation with value creation. Over the course of his career, he has worked on transactions having a total value exceeding $3bn. He also co-founded and managed Gestion Agriterra, a farmland investment corporation specialized in the acquisition, management and rental of farmland throughout Canada. AgriTerra Fund I was liquidated in 2016, achieving an IRR of 16.5% over 4 years, and a multiple of capital of 1.85x for initial investors (after all fees).
Guillaume has had several senior roles prior to joining the FTM Group, including more recently as a Principal with Hugessen Consulting in Toronto. Before joining Hugessen, Guillaume was an investment banker at Citigroup in the UK and a corporate lawyer in Montreal.
Guillaume has an LLB from Sherbrooke University and completed an MBA at INSEAD in Singapore and France.

Bastien is a Vice President Investments at the FTM Group. He brings 8 years of experience in advising entrepreneurs and managers on operational and financial strategy as well as performance optimization. He is specialized in the manufacturing sector having completed over 25 consulting projects across a diversified set of industries such as: Food Processing, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Corrugated Board, Furniture Manufacturing, Armored Truck Manufacturing, Plastics Transformation, Metals Transformation, Transportation & Logistics, and Electric heating.
Prior to joining the FTM Group, Bastien also worked at CAD Railways Industries where he was in charge of operations and supporting the M&A strategy. Bastien has an MSc in Strategy and a bachelor’s degree in Finance both from HEC Montréal.
